She's getting bored again. Classes, and family, and her dog, and Hall -- who is wonderful, frightening, and absolutely bewildering, but in his more human moments one of the most cardboard men Sophia's ever met -- her life settling again into a predictable rhythm, and whenever has she been able to bear that?
She needs excitement, needs to get in trouble, needs to risk her neck. (For a few moments she halfway considers trying to find Will again, but she's not quite that desperate for an adventure. Yet.) She wonders, vaguely, if her father's world, or her mother's, could use another supervillain.
...or another hero.

I want to kill that little bastard. Bathe in his blood, tear out his intestines with my bare hands, turn his heart to paper and watch it burn. Damn the Nexus, and damn this front I've put up, that I can't even try to hurt him.
But. Looking on the bright side... I'm out from under those watchful Gallifreyan eyes, in just a week or so. With a whole summer to kill, any which way I like. And after these past months pretending to be a goody-goody brainless twit in two timestreams, I'd say it's high time for me to start being an Osborn again.

The nice thing about the Nexus is that there's something for everyone, if you know where to look -- from tentacle-massage parlours to PINpoint-accessory emporiums -- and if there isn't, someone will come up with something that fits the bill, soon enough. So a coffeeshop, just a nice little place a little ways off from the question areas, isn't really that surprising.
It's a nice little place, not too busy, with a wide menu that caters happily to patrons both human and less-so. Items known to be toxic or unpleasant-tasting to particular species are carefully marked as such, and there's everything from coffee and tea to pastries to a smattering of lunch-type items, for humans. (All at fairly reasonable, if 21st-century, prices.)
Sophia, a cheerful young girl with remarkably curly red hair and bright clothes (and a somewhat, ah, low-cut top) has already ordered a mug of tea and a croissant, and is sitting at one of the tables, waiting. Eager, but a little nervous. She really hopes she doesn't make a mess of this.
